What is Enactus Acadia?

Enactus Acadia is a student-led organization. We are dedicated to creating positive social and environmental impact through entrepreneurial action.

We develop and implement projects that address various community challenges while fostering leadership, skill development, and innovation among our members.

Who is Enactus For?

Students of all programs contribute value to Enactus projects! This includes:

  • Community Development
  • Business/Entrepreneurship
  • Nutrition
  • Sciences (Bio, Engineering, etc.)
  • Arts

No experience is required, all you need is a passion for creating positive change in your community!

Competitions

Competitions are an opportunity for teams across Canada and the world to showcase the impact created from projects and Enactus social enterprises.

Regionals: Halifax (March)

Nationals: Toronto, Vancouver, or Montreal (May)

World Cup: Anywhere! Recent locations include Puerto Rico and the Netherlands (October)

Opportunities to get Involved

Project team for Foodsharing (addressing food insecurity, food waste, food literacy)

Project team for Social Entrepreneurship Case Competitions (addressing problems of real local organizations, and offering skill development to students)

Competition team (presenting, travel, tech, script writing)

Exec: Finance Coordinator (managing expenses, grants, reimbursements)

Exec: Communications, Marketing & Social Media support (graphic design, email marketing, website, digital community outreach, internal comms)

Leadership team (team management, organizing/planning meetings, strategic planning, etc)

New project development (bringing a new idea to the team, leading the development of a project/initiative/social enterprise)
