The Acadia Investment Council
The Acadia Investment Council (AIC) is a student-run asset management organization that oversees a simulated portfolio of stocks. In our weekly meetings, members take the time to share their ideas, pitch stocks, and discuss research methods to strive for a higher level of financial literacy. AIC facilitates networking opportunities and professional development through a series of guest speaker events and workshops.
Our Goal
AIC is a common place for all students interested in investing and a career in finance to collaborate and learn with like-minded individuals. Our goal is to equip students interested in the finance industry with the necessary skills to thrive in the current job market. AIC provides a perfect opportunity for students at Acadia to gain valuable experience through hands-on investing activities and real-world financial analysis. Members have the opportunity to discuss their opinions and receive constructive feedback through stock pitch presentations and market outlooks.
