Co-leads on the project, Professors Ashley Doyle and Stephen MacLean are thrilled to announce the opening of the new Business Analytics and Technology Hub in the Manning School of Business. Funded through a $155,000 contribution from the Office of Advancement, the Hub is designed as a modern learning space focused on collaborative education. Offering twenty-five current-generation laptops for student use, the Hub gives students advanced learning opportunities utilizing standardized technology, something that is currently limited given the variety of laptops used by Acadia students. Additionally, dual eighty-five-inch SMART interactive displays offer faculty state-of-the-art education technology that is superior to the currently used whiteboards. To enhance the collaborative learning potential of the space, the Hub is also outfitted with modular furniture allowing for each lecture to be tailored to the unique needs of faculty members.
"In short, the Business Analytics and Technology Hub offers a modern learning environment that will enrich the student experience and advance the competitiveness of the School," said Professor Doyle.
