The John and Margaret Forbes Award in Entrepreneurship has been established in honour of the Forbes, who encouraged and supported their four children and many others to attend Acadia University, including Brian (’79), and Wendy (Brookfield) Forbes (’82), Heather (Forbes) Cannon (’80), Mark Forbes (’83), Sandra (Forbes) (’85) and John Greer (’86), Alexander Cannon (’12), and Brandon (’13) and Rylan Greer (’15). A renewable award of $7,500 per year, third-year business students Julia Russell and Allan Galbraith are the Award’s first recipients.
