F.C. Manning Speaker Series presents Henry Demone
by Kennie, Nathan
Henry Demone, Acadia graduate class of ’76, visited the Manning School of Business for the first session of the F.C. Manning Speaker Series. Mr. Demone’s session included insight into his career path from his native Lunenburg to Chairman of High Liner Foods, CEO of Eosense, and a member of the Board of Governors of Acadia University. His presentation was well received by the capacity crowd which benefited from his wealth of experience as a fundraiser, noted volunteer, and distinguished alumni. The Business Society is so fortunate to be working with the advisory board of the business school to make the F.C. Manning Speaker Series sessions possible,
said Julia Russell, president of the Society and organizer of the series. "It’s important that our students have opportunities like this to learn, grow and be inspired from successful individuals like Henry."
Mr. Demone was also on the advisory board of the School for many years and contributed directly to the renovation of Patterson Hall as the new home for Acadia’s Fred C. Manning School of Business.
