Congratulations to BBA students Bethany Dickey, Alison-Marie Lloyd, Kayla Cunningham and Mitchel Millet who placed second in the undergraduate category at the 2014 Scotiabank Ethics in Action Case Competition held at Dalhousie University on November 14th and 15th. The competition gives university students the opportunity to analyze cases and prepare presentations that demonstrate their understanding of business ethics. The first case was distributed and prepared in advance, but the second case was prepared and presented on the same day. Student teams were given only three hours to prepare the second case, illustrating the decision-making challenges of managers under time constraints. The team’s showing was remarkable because they excelled against teams from much larger universities with formal ethics programs.
