Since its inception in 2003, the annual Dodge Cup has been a revered tradition at Acadia University, pitting the Business and Kinesiology faculties in a spirited hockey game for a charitable cause. Spearheaded by a dedicated cohort of Kinesiology senior seminar students and supported by the Acadia Business Society, this year’s game exceeded all expectations, raising an impressive sum of over $3000 for the local food bank. In terms of school spirit, the Dodge Cup is unquestionably one of the highlights of the year, fostering a sense of unity and pride across the campus. The game day atmosphere at this year’s Dodge Cup was electric, with the fans dressed in red and blue, cheering for their respective faculties. The competition was close, with a 3-3 score leading late into the third period. Team BBA pulled ahead in the last few minutes and ended up taking the cup with a final score of 5-3. As we reflect on 20 impactful years of the Dodge Cup, our sincere appreciation extends to the devoted student volunteers and the consistent support from both the Business and Kinesiology faculties. Cheers to the ongoing Dodge Cup legacy, we hope to see the event thrive for years to come!
