The Acadia Business Society has been welcomed into the Canadian Association of Business Students (CABS), which, as their website states, is the "premier umbrella business student association in the country shaping the future of business in Canada by developing leadership and talent nationwide." As a member of CABS, the Acadia Business Society is now connected with business associations across the country, which will provide opportunities to connect and network, and allow all associations additional partners for support, advice and growth. The Acadia Business Society (ABS) is essential to the F.C. Manning student experience, and joining a national organization of student business associations will only strengthen the capabilities of the Society. ABS President, Meg Ostling, attended the 2017 Canadian Business School Conference at Dalhousie University, where she presented a pitch on why Acadia should be welcomed into the organization. Meg expressed the importance of providing more opportunities to Acadia business students. "We believe that by joining CABS we are opening doors to more internal and external case competitions, conferences, and opportunities outside the classroom. We are excited to see what joining CABS will bring for Acadia Business Students!"

The Acadia Business Society is dedicated to promoting and organizing events to assist in the professional and personal development of Acadia’s BBA students. Students value the networking events put on by the ABS as opportunities to build interpersonal relationships and to learn more about the business community overall. Students of all years can run for leadership positions on the ABS executive, and to contribute further to the Acadia Business community. Samantha McKeen, fourth-year BBA student and incoming VP Events, said, "The Acadia Business Society has given me new opportunities, friendships and experiences. It’s a welcoming, supportive and innovative environment that I look forward to continue being a part of as my time here at Acadia comes to a close." Joining CABS will allow the ABS to continue contributing to the student life of the F.C. Manning School of Business, only now more external support will be available to the Society, which will only elevate the quality of events and opportunities offered to BBA students.
