Matthew brings a wealth of business knowledge and experience to the F.C. Manning School of Business. Before joining Acadia, he worked in the banking industry for nine years. Since 2017, Matthew has owned and operated an income tax preparation and advisory services business in the Annapolis Valley. In 2023, he retired from the music business after 25 years, during which time he released 15 albums and was inducted into the Nova Scotia Country Music Hall of Fame. Matthew also taught Introduction to Management and Managerial Communications for the Canadian Institute of Management distance education program and has over 15 years experience serving as a director on various not-for-profit boards, where he has been mainly responsible for finance and policy.
