Harish is a Professor of Marketing at Fred C. Manning School of Business, Acadia University, Wolfville, Nova Scotia. He has presented and published his research in Administrative Sciences Association of Canada (ASAC), European Marketing Academy, Association for Consumer Research (Asia-Pacific), American Marketing Association, Society for Marketing Advancements and the Journal of Hospital Marketing. Harish completed his PhD in Marketing from Carleton University’s Sprott School of Business in June 2005 and was nominated for the University’s Senate medal for outstanding doctoral research. His dissertation examined the affect of competition on the evaluation of brand extensions. A part of his dissertation was published in ASAC 2005 and won the best paper award in marketing.
His professional experience includes management consulting, marketing research, and product management positions at leading business organizations in Canada, India, and the USA. Also, he has taught various marketing courses at Carleton, Florida Atlantic University, and New Mexico State University.
