I chose Acadia University because it was the one in my back yard, as I have spent my entire life in the Annapolis Valley. Acadia has allowed me to create friendships that will last a lifetime, network with great contacts, obtain valuable work experience, and get heavily involved on campus. The Fred C. Manning School of Business is an absolute thrill to be a part of and has guided me to all new heights professionally. There is a strong sense of community and because of this, rare opportunities are presented that wouldn’t at a larger university. Acadia has allowed me to create an identity and a forum to express myself and be heard. The small class sizes at Acadia allow for precious direct feedback from professors and for you to have a lasting impact on the community. My time at Acadia is what will pave the way for my career and I know I made the right choice.
